Due to demand by our attendees, we have engaged a professional photographer for photo ops at STARCON 2011. FROGGY, a well known photographer at Wondercon Events throughout the United States will be on hand to take your picture with our celebrities. Check out our drop down menu for Froggy’s photo ops.

STARCON2011 is issuing a friendly challenge to other conventions to try to beat our upcoming Guinness book of world records attempt to have the most people dressed as aliens in one place at one time. We have contacted Guinness and have applied for the record attempt. We expect to be accepted and for a member of their team to come to the convention to measure our results. The event will take place Friday, June 24th outside the Hilton and Sheraton Hotels, in Richmond, B.C We expect to make the attempt at 5:00PM local.
We invite anyone who is interested in attending to dress as their favorite alien and join us.

Sadly, while attending a Stargate Convention in Vancouver this past weekend (April 14 – 16th, 2011), Stargate fans learned from Brad Wright, Exec. Producer, that there would be no follow up movies for SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and SGU. There would not be any movies of the week, or even extra shows to wrap up STARGATE in it’s many incarnations. Many eyes in the theater were more than a little damp at the news.
But that’s okay. Stargate will come back one day. In the meantime, we have STARCON 2011. Watch who is announced next. New celebrities coming soon!
